Privacy Policy
Effective August 9, 2026
Sam It Right FILTERING is a device-protection and internet-filtering service. This notice explains the information processed to enroll devices, apply filtering policies, respond to access requests, and keep the service secure.
Information we process
- Account and support information supplied by the customer or authorized administrator.
- Managed-device identifiers, device name, platform, app version, enrollment state, and last check-in time.
- Filtering policy settings, approved and blocked apps or sites, schedules, and administrator decisions.
- Security and service events such as blocked categories, policy synchronization, access requests, timestamps, and network address used for abuse prevention.
- Subscription and plan status. Full payment-card details should be handled by the selected payment processor and not stored by the filtering app.
VPN and filtering disclosure
The Android app uses Android's VPN service to apply device-level filtering. Network requests may be examined as needed to determine whether a destination is allowed or blocked. The service is not used to sell browsing data, inject advertising, or redirect traffic for advertising revenue. If a deployment sends traffic to a remote tunnel, that connection must be encrypted.
How information is used
We use information to provide filtering, synchronize policies, show device health, process access requests, prevent unauthorized removal, troubleshoot the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Sharing and retention
Information may be processed by infrastructure and service providers acting for us, or disclosed when required by law. We retain information only as long as needed for the service, security, billing, legal obligations, or an active customer account. Final retention periods must be documented before production launch.
Controls and deletion
The account owner can request access, correction, export, or deletion of account data. Device activity and policy records may be removed or anonymized subject to security, fraud-prevention, and legal retention requirements. Authorized release of a managed device requires the approved company process.
Children and managed users
The service may be configured by parents, guardians, schools, businesses, or other authorized administrators. The administrator is responsible for having the authority and notices required to manage the device and its user. The service must not be used for secret or unlawful monitoring.
Security
We use restricted device credentials, scoped access, encrypted transport, revocation, rate limits, and audit logs. No system is completely secure, so production deployment also requires ongoing monitoring and incident response.
